The Municipality of Sumbas is seeking participants from Russia and Poland for the European Union Youth In Action Program Action 3.1 Project, which will take place in Sumbas, Turkey from May 24-31, 2013. The project will focus on volunteering, active citizenship, European Citizenship, and strengthening civil society, participation of young people and democracy understanding. Sumbas is a small town in the Eastern Mediterranean Region of Turkey, with a rich history and cultural heritage. The town is easily accessible via Adana, Hatay, and Gaziantep airports. The project offers a unique opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the region while participating in a meaningful program.
